The Nature of Tea
If you consider the vast history that tea has then we could be here for a while. Go look it up when you get home. Instead, why don’t we imagine all the wonderful things tea does for you?
For example, giving you the gift of flight. What, has this never happened to you before?
Oh.
Maybe you just don’t drink enough tea in one sitting. Imagine, though, all the traffic you would avoid if you could fly. Such is the nature of tea.
How about sending you through time and space and being able to experience the dinosaurs in a more inactive way rather than through books and television?
No? Right, I can see we’re having a problem here. What kind of tea is it you drink? I’m talking about a proper cup of tea with milk. You can have sugar if you want but maybe this is the problem: sugar dampens the nature of tea.
Perhaps we’ll have to experiment with sugared and non-sugared tea. How many sugars does it take to give you superpowers? How many to be transported somewhere to solve crimes with a detective with a habit for cocaine?
This could be interesting. All we would have to do is drink cups of tea. Then we could move on to different types of tea: peppermint, Earl Grey, pomegranate and orange, coffee… Wait, what? No, we are not experimenting with coffee.
I can see disaster if that were the case.
No we are going to figure this out, figure out how to get you superpowers! Or zip you through time or whatever. I promise.
Now, let’s go put the kettle on and start measuring out sugars. Oh the giggles we’re going to have!
